A MEN'S TRAUMA INTENSIVE WEEKEND
The C.O.R.E. is a residential, two-day, trauma-recovery intensive designed to help men move beyond the wounds and experiences that keep them tied to the past. Through a combination of psycho- education, nervous-system regulation, somatic healing, nature-based practices, and experiential trauma-release modalities, participants are invited to reconnect with themselves and imagine a more intentional way of living.
The intensive provides a supportive environment where men can gain a deeper understanding of how trauma affects their bodies, relationships, beliefs, and daily lives. Participants will develop practical tools for regulation and resilience, explore the patterns that have kept them stuck, and begin creating a path toward greater freedom, connection, and purpose.
The CORE Initiative was founded by John Bell, LCSW, LCADC, CSAT, and Tim Schladand, LCSW, LCADC—longtime colleagues who practiced together for more than twenty years and share a common mission: helping men find freedom from the wounds that keep them disconnected from themselves, their families, and the lives they were created to live.
Together, John and Tim bring more than seventy years of combined clinical experience, decades of leadership in experiential men’s healing weekends, and extensive training in trauma treatment, addiction recovery, experiential therapy, and relationship healing.
Their leadership is shaped not only by professional expertise, but also by personal experience. Both John and Tim have lived in long-term recovery and understand that lasting transformation requires more than insight alone.
